Unapologetic.

Without regret. Not even giving one THOUGHT to regret.

How many moments do we look back upon with doubt about our choice of action? How many moments have passed us by in which we should have made the right choice?

We are not looking backward now WRCC! We look forward, to the moments and opportunities coming our way. We do so unapologetically.

The stature of those who bear the name of Christ should be that of confidence and joy in finding the narrow path. All too often, that trip is filled with the same grumbling and complaining found on the wide open path. Is our journey through this world any different? It MUST be! We have something the world is lacking, the very presence of God! That changes everything.

Peter’s testimony, of which was laid bare in Scripture from the beginning of the New Testament to the end in his letters, is a an amazing journey displaying the power of God’s transformative presence. He shifts from being the loud-mouthed, leap before you look apostle to a man full of wisdom and virtue. Peter leads the First Century Church! All of this from the guy who pulled a sword on an entire Roman guard, at night, while Jesus was calmly talking to them.

Bear the name of Christ with distinction in every waking moment we traverse this fallen world. Do so without regret, unapologetically.

1 Peter 1: 3 – 8 3By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.4And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

5In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge,6and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness,7and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.
8The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (NLT).
